Join the Click! Photography Festival at Durham Fruit and Produce on October 15th and October 16th for a rare, two-days-only opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Vivian Maier, the nanny street photographer turned art world sensation. The long and winding saga of her work being celebrated posthumously has spawned debate, books, and movies. This event will include an exhibition of Vivian Maier's original vintage material and ephemera, along with other exhibitions of research and support material, bringing to Durham the incredibly rare opportunity to experience Vivian Maier up close! Saturday, Chris Benoodt, Collection Manager for the Jeffrey Goldstein Collection, will lead VIP tours; give an educational talk about Maier, her discovery, life, work and Goldstein's collection of vintage prints and their legacy. Sunday she will moderate a panel discussion amongst master printers Ron Gordon, Sandy Steinbrecher, Frank Jackowiak, and Holden Richards, who will each share their personal experiences working with Vivian Maier's original negatives and the contemporary printing of them.
