Arts Festival in Elizabeth City, NC on October 5th for a rare, one-day-only opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Vivian Maier, the nanny street photographer turned art world sensation. The long and winding saga of her work being celebrated posthumously has spawned debate, books, and movies. This event will include an exhibition of Vivian Maier's original vintage material and ephemera, along with other exhibitions of research and support material, bringing to Elizabeth City the incredibly rare opportunity to experience Vivian Maier up close! Thursday, Chris Benoodt, Collection Manager for the Jeffrey Goldstein Collection, will give an educational talk about Maier, her discovery, life, work and display some of Goldstein's collection of vintage Vivian Maier prints.
