Due to extremely positive feedback, the juried Click! Photobook exhibit has been extended for additional viewing at Horse & Buggy Press and Friends.
The 18 winning titles can be read through Saturday, October 27.
Gallery Hours: M-F 10-3. *There will be a closing on Saturday, October from Noon-3 which will be your last chance to see the exhibit.*
In addition to the photobook exhibit, there is a curated book stall which features a range of works. Much of this stock are art books from the likes of Yoffy Press, Candela Books, Zatara Press, Radius Books, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, and artists and writers who are self-publishing books with very high production values. There’s a lot see, including two amazing books by Click core team members Lori Vrba (The Moth Wing Diaries) and Heather Evans Smith (Seen Not Heard) if you are interested to see what Click members do when they aren’t helping organize a month-long festival.
First Annual Click! Juried Photobook Exhibit
From emerging to established artists, from print on demand automated technologies to meticulously hand-crafted artifacts, from newsprint to fine print, illustrative to photo documentary approaches, there was a healthy variety to the books submitted that made for an engaging review process.
Some of these are playful celebrations while others are serious studies, investigations into historical moments, or more personal journeys. Some demonstrate remarkable craftsmanship while others are produced with simple means.
From 50 entries, we are delighted to share a range of styles and approaches to the photobook with these 18 works. We feel each of these successfully showcase an individual vision presented in book form.
