This workshop will introduce techniques that utilize a readily available low-price digital tool as a high output digital camera. The scanner can transform objects into extraordinarily detailed large format files capable of being printed at large format sizes. You will learn how to make images that straddle the borders of still-life, flower arranging and Cliché Vere. The workshop will be taught by visiting artist Charity Valentine, Head of the Fine Arts Department at Pitt Community College
Intermediate: Should have a basic knowledge of scanners and of Photoshop’s basic functions.
NC State students, faculty and staff must pre-register using the link on this page. However, a limited number of workshop spots are being held for community members at no cost. If you would like to attend, please contact Marian Fragola at firstname.lastname@example.org.
